DTS, an audio technology company that powers both home and cinema sound systems alike, has announced a sponsorship deal with Fortnite-centric organisation Team Vanish.

The one-year agreement will see Team Vanish players receive DTS audio products and sample new products before they release, while the Vanish brand will be featured in global DTS events and content.

Sam Keene, Senior Director of Digital Marketing for DTS parent company Xperi, commented in a release: “For the last year, DTS has been hyper-focused on elevating audio in gaming, and partnering with Team Vanish is a great opportunity to continue to expand that objective. Their roster of players and creators provides our engineers deeper insights into what audio changes make the biggest impact on in-game and competitive scenarios, and we’re thrilled to bring this value to our customers and ultimately consumers everywhere!”

Team Vanish is a relatively new organisation that was founded in 2019, but has achieved notable success through the Fortnite Championship Series. The organisation has also recently recruited competitive VALORANT players.

This is the first esports team sponsorship for DTS, which is currently holding a DTS Invitational Series tournament for VALORANT and has also hosted streamers at its DTS Stream Studio. DTS also recently announced a partnership with tournament operator DreamHack.

RJ “Pieces” Salmon, Co-owner of Team Vanish, added: “DTS just gets it. Partnering with a company that understands not only the gaming industry, but also specifically the esports space, was hugely important to us. We didn’t want to work with the first company that showed interest; it was important to us to be strategic about who we partnered with to ensure our continued growth is influenced by people we respect and can confidently collaborate with. DTS is all of that and then some. They have been amazing from the get-go, and we look forward to seeing where this partnership takes us.”

Esports Insider says: Team Vanish is a small organisation in the grand scheme of things, but is already making waves in competitive Fortnite. DTS clearly sees a growth opportunity here as it expands its gaming and esports efforts.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
