Swedish based player-owned esports organisation Alliance has expanded its partnership with gaming peripherals and accessories manufacturer Razer.
Alliance will become the global chair ambassador for Razer’s latest gaming chair – the Razer Iskur – which was announced recently at RazerCon.

The extension of the partnership with this additional category of peripherals now goes over seven years, when Razer helped found Alliance back in 2013. The new partnership extension comes after they recently reunited for another two years last March.
Kelly Ong, Chief Strategy Officer at Alliance, commented: “We have been given a new opportunity with a brand new holistic product by Razer – the Iskur. For 2 years we have been looking for the right chair partnership. We have found our perfect fit. We are so proud and excited to be the global ambassadors for iskur, and show it to you, because it truly is for gamers, by gamers.”

“This is the best gaming chair I’ve ever had in my life,” said Dota 2 captain Gustav Magnusson. Alliance’s fans will recall last season that the organisation had to loan players mid-season due to injury. It has been looking for the right partner since, according to a release. The chair features an external lumbar support system, high-density foam cushioning, and multi-layered synthetic leather, which it claims is redefining the gaming chair.
Yann Salsedo, Head of Esports at Razer, added: “Alliance need and deserve the best gaming gear available on the market. We have proudly supplied them with our high-performance peripherals for years, and with the Razer Iskur, we are now expanding our support into a whole new product category – gaming chairs.”
Esports Insider Says: This expanded partnership is perfect for both parties, as Alliance and Razer have already worked together for several years. This is great for the esports athletes who have been suffering injuries, and also a fantastic opportunity for Razer to launch its new Razer Iskur with positive reviews.
