Esports training platform ProGuides has named digital media veteran Paul Condolora as its Chief Operating Officer.
In his new role, Condolora will lead revenue and operations for the on-demand learning platform.

As of March 2021, ProGuides recorded a new coaching booking every six minutes on average, according to the release.
Condolora joins the executive team as ProGuides’ Co-Founder Kristoph Oedman moves to his new role as President, where he will oversee production and develop the company’s strategic roadmap.
Condolora stated: “For years, I have believed gaming will be the art form of the 21st century. I’m thrilled to support the growth of an established startup and make a contribution to the founders’ vision and mission. Like any athlete, competitive gamers know they need the training to compete, and ProGuides is the place to help them get better.”
Prior to joining ProGuides, Condolora served as COO for Next 10 Ventures, an operating and investment company focused on the global creator economy. His experience covers various aspects of the entertainment industry including a role as co-head of the Harry Potter Franchise development team at Warner Bros. He also served as Senior Vice President at Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, overseeing all aspects of the company’s digital businesses.

In the release, ProGuides cited its growth over the past year, both in the number of premium subscribers to its on-demand, interactive video coaching courses and the development of its live coaching platform. The company launched an updated app in early April 2021. The new interface automatically matches users with instructors based on factors such as rank, recent performance, and current objectives.
