The partnership marks a further expansion into esports by LG UltraGear, which was named the official monitor of North American organisation Evil Geniuses in June 2020.

Jon Urwin, Vice President of Commercial Partnerships at ReKTGlobal, spoke on the deal in a release: “The London Royal Ravens are very excited to bring on LG UltraGear as a new partner for the 2022 season. Pro-calibre players need every advantage they can get over the competition, and the lightning-quick refresh rate and hyper-realistic visual resolution of LG UltraGear monitors give the Royal Ravens that competitive edge.”

The brand becomes the seventh partner of the UK’s only CDL franchise, joining the likes of peripherals manufacturer HyperX, educational foundation Find Your Grind and betting platform Midnite.

The Royal Ravens partnership expands LG’s esports presence, building on the release earlier this year of a new line of gaming-focused monitors.

Hanju Kim, IT Product Director at LG, also commented: “We are thrilled to announce LG’s partnership with the London Royal Ravens Call of Duty League franchise team and look forward to working together to support the global gaming community. Our UltraGear Gaming Monitors truly offers the ultimate gaming set-up and we are excited to be part of this partnership.”

Esports Insider says: With fast reactions being a key part of Call of Duty esports, the London Royal Ravens is a strong partner for LG to promote the UltraGear brand and its range of gaming monitors.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
