Web3 esports platform FITCHIN has announced a partnership with Latin American esports organisation KRÜ Esports.
As a result of the deal, the two parties will look to create new fan engagement opportunities and expand the organisation’s fan base.
Utilising FITCHIN, KRÜ Esports will be able to offer a range of benefits to its supporters. This includes dedicated community hubs and NFT collections. In addition, the deal enables fans to vote on how the organisation chooses to spend its treasury fund for future web3 developments.
The deal marks the first partnership for FITCHIN following its latest seed round, where the platform raised $3.5m (~£2.9m) to help build its infrastructure, community and commerical portfolio.
FITCHIN becomes the seventh partner of KRÜ Esports, joining the likes of sportswear brand Puma and streaming platform Twitch on its expanding roster. Prior to securing a deal with the Web3 platform, the organisation appointed international marketing agency Vanquish as its exclusive commercial agent.
According to the FITCHIN’s roadmap, Q3 of 2022 will involve strategic partnership negotiations with the final quarter of the year involving the creation of its team. Founded in 2021, FITCHIN aims to provide organisations with the tools to generate new revenue streams using Web3.
Founded in 2020 by former professional footballer Sergio Aguero, KRÜ Esports is most known for its LATAM VALORANT roster. The organisation also has competitive teams in FIFA and League of Legends.
Gaston Santourian, Marketing Director at FITCHIN, spoke on the partnership: “We are proud to partner with an esports team that is as celebrated and powerful as KRÜ Esports.
“This strategic partnership is the first of many, and it will support our goal of bridging the global gaming community with Web3.We have great expectations for our collaboration in strengthening and promoting the esports industry worldwide.”
