CS:GO tournament series Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) has announced a partnership with sports subscription service DAZN.

For the first time, content through CCT’s international CS:GO competitions will be offered on DAZN. All of the CCT Playoffs events will be available for streaming on DAZN starting on February 16th.

The Central Europe Malta Finals will kickstart this initiative, with future CCT content coming to DAZN as the Tour progresses.

DAZN hosting CCT streams will expand the reach of the tournament, putting CS:GO next to traditional sports like football, Formula 1, and boxing, among others.

The Champion of Champions Tour is a CS:GO tournament jointly organised by GRID Esports, FACEIT and Fantasy Expo, among others. The entire circuit, taking place from 2022 to 2024, has a total prize pool of $3.4m (~£2.79m).

Apart from the CCT, DAZN has also struck deals with CS:GO esports circuit BLAST Premier, as well as media holding company and tournament organiser WePlay Esports in the past. On the other hand, the CCT maintains partnerships with bookmaker 1xBet, German broadcast studio Fragster, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Parimatch, among others.

“This is another important step towards showcasing the increasing importance of esports amongst all forms of entertainment, and we couldn’t be more excited than to join forces with DAZN in this venture.”
