Esports data provider DATA.BET has bolstered its esports offering by launching new individual player markets for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).

Presented at iGaming industry conference ICE London, the new offering will look to help operators attract more esports fans and provide an in-depth betting experience.

The new individual player markets will be made available for live betting on every CS:GO map in matches. This means that users will be able to bet on how many kills and deaths a particular player will have at the end of the map through Total Kills and Total Deaths markets.

The offering will function in the same way as Total Over and Total Under markets. For example, if a user places a bet on Total Kills over 20, the bettor wins if the chosen player goes above that amount.

In the space of a few years, esports betting has shown multiple strides in its development. In particular, an emphasis has been placed on acquiring better data from esports titles to bolster offerings as well as strengthening integrity protocols

The individual player markets will be available to all of DATA.BET’s partners with esports bookmaker GG.Bet already utilising the service, according to the company.

Speaking about the launch, Alex Kozachenko, Chief Product Officer of DATA.BET, commented: “It’s important for us that DATA.BET’s partners are always the first to get access to our innovations in the esports betting arena.

“The team here are constantly monitoring the wants and needs of bettors, as well as tracking trends within the esports world. When combined with our technological prowess, this has allowed us to build a product that’s unlike any other on the market.”

Alongside the launch of its new offering, DATA.BET has been incredibly busy in 2023 already. Notably, the data provider recently secured significant partnerships with fellow data companies GRID and Bayes Esports. DATA.BET was also a headline sponsor of the ESIC Global Esports Summit, which took place earlier this month.

Ruslan Porokhniak, Chief Marketing Officer of DATA.BET, added: “Everyone’s used to betting on the results of a whole team, but it’s important to keep in mind that esports fans are no less interested in how individual players perform, too.

“Now, bookmakers can provide this option as well! We’ve added individual player markets to allow our partners to offer their customers a completely unique experience that takes them beyond betting, making them feel part of the game itself.”
