UK-based esports organisation Guild Esports has announced a partnership with gaming furniture brand Secretlab.
As part of the one-year deal, Secretlab will supply the Sky Guild Gaming Centre with its gaming chairs, which will be utilised by Guild’s professional players.
This collaboration coincides with Guild’s upcoming venture into the realm of sim racing after completing a £600,000 fundraise.
Guild had previously entered into a two-year cash and value-in-kind sponsorship deal with Razer which was originally intended to last for 15 months but was terminated prematurely. This termination had no significant impact on Guild’s revenue, according to the organisation.
In addition to Secretlab, Guild maintains a substantial lineup of partners, which includes renowned names such as Samsung, Coca-Cola, Subway, and Danish sportswear brand hummel. Earlier this month the organisation also struck a deal with Fanatec, a manufacturer of sim racing peripherals.
In the past year, Secretlab has partnered with prominent organisations like Talon Esports, Paper Rex, and Team Vitality, further cementing its position as an influential furniture manufacturer in the gaming and esports industry.
Jasmine Skee, CEO of Guild Esports, commented on the partnership: “We are excited about our partnership with Secretlab. The Sky Guild Gaming Centre is rapidly becoming a hub for high-level esports performance.
“Our professional teams and players are among the best and Secretlab’s ergonomic chairs will ensure our athletes have the best equipment to achieve peak performance.”
