Esports odds provider Abios has announced a partnership with sportsbook solutions provider Betinvest.
As a result of the deal, Abios will gain access to data from virtual football matches played as part of Betinvest’s CyberLive! Arena and Esport Pro Club circuits on EA Sports FC.
According to a release, Abios will gain access to over 11,100 EA Sports FC monthly matches enabling it to provide odds sportsbooks with virtual football data to increase the amount of live content available for consumers.
The partnership with Betinvest follows the creation of Abios’ virtual football experience which launched in August 2023. In collaboration with betting content and data company BETER, the solution provides live odds, real-time widgets and streams for bookmakers to offer a ’round-the-clock’ experience.
Founded in 2013, Abios has become one of the leading esports odds providers in the world. In January 2024, it published a report detailing esports betting trends from 2023. The report reveals over half of parent company Kambi‘s betting turnover was on Counter-Strike matches.
UK-based Betinvest is no stranger to the esports industry. The company offers several esports betting products including 24-hour competitions across several virtual sports including eCricket, virtual basketball, and virtual ice hockey.
Oskar Bonnevier Fröberg, Founder and Managing Director of Abios, spoke on the deal: “Abios has recently taken significant strides to facilitate our esoccer product reaching new heights.
“To help us provide 24/7 content to partners across the globe, we’re thrilled to have Betinvest onboard. With the content they provide, we can ensure even higher flexibility and availability for our partners, ultimately leading to more differentiated and optimised sports betting offerings.”
