Esports company and tournament organiser ESL FACEIT Group has unveiled a second clothing collaboration with sports apparel brand Champion.

The collection follows a successful collaboration between ESL and Champion that took place last year.

The merchandise deal between ESL and Champion is made up of eight items that are now available in the ESL store. Consumers will be able to choose between hoodies, t-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, a jacket, and a hockey jersey.

The merchandise features a merger of logos from ESL and Champion as well as graphics made up of iconic images from Counter-Strike, including a chicken originally from CS 1.6.

Champion are no stranger to esports collaborations, having worked previously with Team BDS, FnaticLuminosity and most recently launching an apparel collection with Brazilian esports organisation FURIA. It is also not the only company to work with esports brands to produce uniquely designed merchandise. Esports organisations such as 100 Thieves and G2 esports have secured apparel deals in the past, with OpTic partnering with Italian Football team Juventus alongside Adidas to create its own collection.

Fabio Tambosi, the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at ESL FACEIT Group commented on the collaboration: “Embodying the iconic Champion motto, ‘You Don’t Just Wear It. You Earn It,’ the new Champion x ESL 2024 collection invites you to celebrate hard-earned success in style.

“Whether you are competing in-game or conquering challenges beyond the screen, this collection is a tribute to the champions of the new global sport.”
