North American esports organisation Sentinels has secured a partnership with social media application Stacked.
As a result of the deal, the app will become the official site of Sentinels Game Day, an initiative designed to unite fans of the organisation while its teams compete across various esports titles.
The Stacked app will feature a dedicated channel for Sentinels that features information on upcoming match times, links to tournament broadcasts and the most recent match results. In addition, the organisation aims to be active on the platform giving fans the opportunity to interact with players alongside event coverage.
To mark the start of the partnership, the organisation provided coverage of its recent VALORANT match with Gen.G, a rematch of the VCT Masters Madrid event which took place in March 2024.
The trend of esports organisations utilising social media apps and dedicated channels to drive engagements shows no sign of slowing down. In October, French organisation Solary unveiled a fan-focused app where people can earn points that can be exchanged for a variety of rewards.
Stacked becomes the fourth partner of Sentinels joining the likes of Razer, PC manufacturer Starforge Systems, and BenQ’s esports brand ZOWIE on its roster.
Throughout 2024, the organisation has launched a number of initiatives with its existing partners. In November, it launched a co-designed version of the Razer Viper V3 Pro mouse in collaboration with the hardware brand. It also collaborated with the brand on the Sen City Classic event, a VCT OFF//SEASON event featuring several North American organisations.
