Sony’s gaming gear brand INZONE has signed a multi-year deal with Riot Games to support VCT EMEA, VALORANT top-level EMEA competition.

The partnership will see INZONE equip coach rooms, practice areas and co-stream rooms at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin with the brand’s monitors. Moreover, fans attending the venue will be given the chance to try out the monitors at the 1v1 fan zone station during VCT EMEA show days.

According to a release, the brand will act as a Main Partner and the Official Gaming Display Partner for two years until the end of 2026.

Daniel Ringland, Head of VALORANT Esports EMEA, commented on the partnership: “INZONE has become a major player in the pro-gaming performance scene, so we’re delighted to bring them on board as a partner of VCT EMEA for the next two years.

“Their continued support of our esports scene and commitment to serving the evolving needs of the gaming community through cutting-edge technology makes this a truly exciting collaboration.”

Sony has heavily invested in the gaming and esports space over the years, particularly with its INZONE brand. Aside from its latest VCT partnership, INZONE is also the Official Headset Partner for VALORANT esports teams Fnatic and ZETA DIVISION.

In 2022, INZONE partnered with UK-based organisation Excel Esports and sponsored top-level esports competitions such as Evolution Championship Series (2022 and 2023 editions) and PGL Dota 2 Arlington Major.

Last year, the parent company Sony Group Corporation signed a multi-year deal with the Esports World Cup Foundation, the tournament organisers behind the Esports World Cup (EWC).

As a founding partner, Sony was responsible for several aspects of the event, creating a behind-the-scenes documentary series showcasing the players and games in the competition and producing the anthem for the EWC in 2024 through its subsidiary Sony Music Entertainment.
