Brazilian esports organisation FURIA has won the inaugural Rainbow Six RE:L0:AD championship after defeating CAG Osaka in the Grand Final.

FURIA scored a 3-0 victory over the Japanese organisation, making it one of the most dominant victories recorded in Rainbow Six esports.

FURIA’s Road to Victory

FURIA began its campaign with a 7-3 win over Team Elevate before building upon its strong opening with a 7-1 victory against Team BDS. The momentum continued for the Brazilian side, picking up a 7-4 win over Team Secret.

The team’s momentum ended in the fourth round of the group stage, when DarkZero Esports beat FURIA 7-2, handing the team its first loss of RE:L0:AD.

Despite the loss, FURIA bounced back with a comfortable 7-3 victory over FaZe Clan to secure a place in the Playoffs, where the top eight teams would compete for the lion’s share of the $520,000 (~£388,554) prize pool.

FURIA dominated the Playoffs from the outset, sweeping aside LOUD and w7m Esports before defeating CAG Osaka in the Grand Final. As a result of taking victory, the organisation took home $170,000 (~£127,018) in prize money.

The victory marks the organisation’s first international Rainbow Six trophy since it returned to the esport in 2024. However, the Brazilian roster is no stranger to success, having won two Majors and the 2024 edition of the Six Invitational under the w7m Esports banner.

What Next for Rainbow Six Esports?

Following the conclusion of RE:L0:AD, the Rainbow Six esports scene moves towards its regional leagues across MENA, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania.

Regional leagues will run between June and July, and will see teams from across the regional leagues will compete for Six Invitational seeding points and a chance to compete at the Esports World Cup.

From August 5th to 9th, 2025, the multi-title event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, sees 16 teams compete for a share of a $2m (~£1.4m) prize pool
