ENCE has benched Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander from its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster after a year-and-a-half stint on the starting line-up.
With Gla1ve moving to the inactive roster, the Finnish esports organisation has signed Rigon ‘rigoN’ Gashi as its fifth player.
As a result of the roster change, Viktor ‘sdy’ Orudzhev has become ENCE’s new in-game leader (IGL) for upcoming competitions. The Ukrainian player is no stranger to the role, having been the IGL of Monte in 2023.
For Gla1ve, ENCE has allowed the four-time Major winner to explore other opportunities to compete for another team. The Dane doesn’t leave the team empty-handed. In 2024, he led ENCE to victory at Elisa Masters Espoo.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t achieve the level of success we aimed for as a team, so it’s now time to look ahead and build for the future.”
RigoN joins the team after a lengthy period without a team following the disbanding of Bad News Eagles. Notably, the team secured places at the Legend stage of the Antwerp, Paris, and Rio Majors throughout 2022 and 2023.
ENCE In 2025
2025 has been a year of turbulence for ENCE. The team managed to win a handful of online tournaments, but has failed to qualify for any offline Tier 1 competitions.
Over the last seven months, ENCE achieved a second-place finish at the Conquest of Prague 2025 event, losing to Fnatic in the Grand Final.
The new-look line-up will make its debut at BLAST Bounty Season 2, with the online qualifiers taking place on August 5th. The top eight teams from the online phase will earn a place at the LAN finals in Malta.
After BLAST Bounty, ENCE will compete in the closed qualifiers for ESL Pro League Season 22, which could be an excellent opportunity to earn valuable Valve Regional Standings (VRS) points.
