Stream Hatchet, a subsidiary of GameSquare Holdings, has announced it will serve as the Official Data and Insights Partner for the 2025 edition of the Esports World Cup (EWC).

According to a release, Stream Hatchet will deliver real-time analytics, performance dashboards, and insights about the event, which will take place starting next week and until August 24th.

The tournament’s organiser, the Esports World Cup Foundation, will coordinate media outreach for Stream Hatchet, alongside social campaigns and data releases before and during the event.

The data company has been a long-standing tool in the esports ecosystem, measuring livestreaming content across platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and Kick.

The data company has also partnered with Riot Games, having renewed its collaboration last year. The company also publishes a yearly gaming and esports trends report featuring viewership insights.

GameSquare’s Growth

Stream Hatchet’s parent company, GameSquare, is known for owning several ventures in the gaming and esports space, including esports team FaZe Clan, which was officially acquired last year.

On top of FaZe Clan, GameSquare also owns marketing agencies Code Red and Zoned.

Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at Esports World Cup Foundation, commented on the partnership: “Bringing Stream Hatchet’s leading technology into EWC operations shows just how committed we are to pushing esports to new professional heights.

“This partnership means everyone involved – from teams and sponsors to fans and media – will get an unprecedented look into tournament performance and engagement.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
