The Sim Racing Expo has expanded into North America with an event taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2026.

The North American edition of the Sim Racing Expo will take place from May 22nd to 24th, 2026 in one of the United States’ biggest motorsport cities. Charlotte is the home of 17 NASCAR teams, along with the Haas F1 Team.

Operated by event management company South West Vision since 2023, Sim Racing Expo has become the largest sim racing trade fair in the world, with several stakeholders attending to showcase new products to fans in attendance.

Sim Racing Expo Charlotte will be the second event organised by the company and the first event of its kind to take place in North America. In October, the Sim Racing Expo heads to Dortmund, Germany, with several stakeholders in attendance.

Following a boom period in 2020, sim racing has continued to grow at an impressive rate with new brands and real-world motorsport stakeholders embarking on initiatives. In May, Porsche opened a dedicated facility within its Cologne headquarters for its factory team.

Sim Racing In 2025

After the initial spike in popularity, interest in sim racing has started to plateau despite the launch of new events for aspiring drivers to participate in.

April saw the FIA launch an all-female esports event, while June saw Motorsport UK launch the Four Nations Esports Cup for drivers located in the UK, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

The expansion of the Sim Racing Expo into North America marks an opportunity for the event tp expand its presence within the United States. With Charlotte as the home of oval racing, the event is set to attract the attention of stakeholders and fans alike.

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
