German esports organisation BIG (Berlin International Gaming) has partnered with digital healthcare provider GreenMedical and medical cannabis company Four 20 Pharma to run education-focused activations with its community.

According to a release, the collaboration would highlight regulated, doctor-supervised use of medical cannabis through giveaways, branding and community campaigns.

GreenMedical — a subsidiary of the CKM Group — was described as offering telemedicine consultations, digital prescriptions and fulfilment for medical cannabis in Germany. Four 20 Pharma, meanwhile, is a licensed provider focused on quality standards and sustainable patient care.

The aim of the partnership is to tackle misconceptions, share information and make digital health services more accessible.

BIG has stated that the initiative is health-oriented rather than lifestyle-driven — positioning the programme around myth-busting and access to reliable information. GreenMedical’s services are set to be showcased through content and fan touchpoints, while Four 20 Pharma’s contribution would focus on product quality and standards within Germany’s medical framework.

Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG, explained that the organisation sees its role as not just competing in esports but also engaging with important social issues. In the announcement, he noted that teaming up with GreenMedical and Four 20 Pharma allows BIG to highlight innovative healthcare approaches and promote the safe, regulated use of medical cannabis within its community.

Founded in 2017, BIG has established itself as one of Germany’s leading esports organisations, with rosters across multiple titles, particularly Counter-Strike. The team is known for its role in developing German esports talent while competing internationally. Its Counter-Strike 2 team’s most recent notable result came at the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, where the organisation took home second place.

Cannabis In Esports

Cannabis has crossed into gaming and esports before, particularly through creator-led ventures. OpTic Gaming owner Hector ‘H3CZ’ Rodriguez and Nordan ‘FaZe Rain’ Shat have previously launched cannabis-related brands, illustrating a small but growing overlap between the sectors.
