MOONTON Games has announced Redd+E as its authorised reseller of broadcast rights for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports in Southeast Asia (SEA), which includes the upcoming M7 World Championship.
The developer said in a release that it aims to build a global and sustainable media network through this partnership. This includes developing a broadcast rights model to help secure deals in SEA.
Media rights deals in esports are rare, with most tournaments being broadcast for free on YouTube or Twitch. This is also the first time MLBB has announced a broadcast rights partnership.
Yip Ren Kai, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Redd+E, said that this partnership will help bring more revenue for esports IP owners. This would include the teams and MOONTON itself.
“MLBB is one of the most culturally significant and widely followed esports titles in the world, and we see tremendous potential in establishing a broadcast rights model that reflects that scale,” he said.
“By connecting MLBB with broadcasters and media partners across Southeast Asia, we are driving new commercial pathways that will enhance sustainability, audience growth, and long-term value for the entire ecosystem.”
As a part of this deal, Redd+E will distribute all MPLs in SEA, which includes Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Singapore.
MLBB esports is among the most-watched esports titles globally. In total, it amassed 475m watch hours in 2024, per Esports Charts.

In the past, Redd+E has worked with partners such as the International Paralympic Committee, BLAST Premier, Esports Insider, Badminton Asia, TVRI, Astro/eGG Network, W-Sports Channel, and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
M7 World Championship to Kick Off on January 3rd
The first tournament as part of this partnership will be the M7 World Championship. Redd+E and MOONTON will likely be sharing more details about the broadcast partners for SEA in the future.
The tournament is taking place from January 3rd to 25th, 2026, in Indonesia and features a prize pool of $1m (~£758,000).
