In addition to the jersey sponsorship, the two parties will collaborate on a range of activations taking place over the next two years. Specific details regarding the activations were not disclosed.

The deal marks Roobet’s first partnership with an esports organisation, however, the platform is no stranger to the industry. The company has also partnered with tournament organiser Relog Media to host a CS:GO tournament known as the Roobet Cup. Astralis will participate in the tournament alongside the likes of FaZe Clan and Cloud 9.

Kasper Sindt, Commercial Director at Astralis, spoke on the deal: “Roobet came to us looking for a partner to help establish and grow the Roobet brand in the international esports community. It did not take long to establish that there was a match between our common ambitions and our digital position and capabilities, so it was all about tailoring a partnership agreement to meet the high expectations of both parties.”

Roobet becomes the 16th partner of Astralis, joining an extensive partnership roster that includes the likes of sportswear brand hummel, matchmaking platform Esportal and chewing gum brand Stimorol.

David Kostap, Managing Director of Roobet, also commented: For Roobet, this partnership is all about reaching and engaging the vast number of fans in our key markets. Astralis is a lighthouse in esports with their unique approach to the game, fans, and players, and with dedicated and professional organization, leaving very little to circumstances.”

Esports Insider says: For Roobet, joining forces with Astralis is a big step as it expands its presence within the esports space. With little information on activations, it’ll be interesting to see how the two parties will stand out from the crowd.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
