Swedish esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has expanded its partnership with multinational gaming lifestyle brand Razer

The two-year deal will see the NIP teams using Razer’s Enki gaming chairs across all ongoing operations. The organisation currently fields teams in CS:GO, VALORANT, FIFA, and Rainbow Six: Siege.

The expanded partnership follows an existing eleven-month relationship between the two brands. NIP first inked a multi-year deal with Razer in July 2021, which saw players promoting Razer peripherals and gaming desktops.

The new arrangement will see Razer’s first gaming chair integrated into NIP team facilities. According to the release, the implementation of peripherals and gaming desktops has been described as ‘more than well-received’ by NIP’s professional players.

This news is the latest in a flurry of NIP partnerships over the last 18 months. This includes sustainable collaborations with Swedish fashion brand Stiksen and the World Wild Life Fund for Nature (WWF). The latter deal encouraged gamers to switch off their electronics to save electricity.

As of this moment, Razer currently has ongoing partnerships with 24 esports teams and five professional players. Most of these agreements involve players giving feedback on product development, as well as providing assistance in planning bootcamps and training.

Hicham Chachine, CEO of NIP, commented: “Ergonomics is a major part of our performance setup, allowing the NIP athletes and staff to maintain the right posture when competing, training, and working for long periods of time.

“Expanding our partnership with Razer and integrating them further into our setup was a natural decision to maximise player comfortability and performance.”

Some of NIP’s current partners include Betway, GamerPay, and Zilliqa among others.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
