IKONIC, a dedicated NFT platform for esports and gaming collectibles, has announced its official launch.

IKONIC provides a full-service NFT marketplace serving professional players, teams, content creators and fans.

IKONIC allows players to create NFTs based on their gameplay highlights. It uses blockchain technology to turn these highlighted esports moments into digital collectibles.

Professional players, as well as their fans, can create the NFT highlights through the platform. This allows fans to collect the best gameplay moments and connect with their favourite professional players.

According to IKONIC, players will be able to create unique NFTs of their gameplay within a few clicks. The NFTs can then be listed and traded on IKONIC’s marketplace.

The company’s own $IKONIC token will be used as a key for unlocking rewards for both players and fans, including discounts and access to specific bonuses within the platform.

The use of NFT platforms has been on the rise in esports recently. In January, esports organisation Complexity secured an agreement with NFT platform ARterra, and in July, Indian NFT fan engagement platform STAN partnered with three Indian organisations.

Moreover, earlier in August, Yesports launched a B2B esports NFT membership service.

Sebastian Ionut Diaconu, CEO of IKONIC, said: “The IKONIC platform allows users to immortalise their outstanding gameplay into video NFTs, the next-gen type of memorabilia for esports.

“Esports players’ status as athletes has been disputed for a long time. Creating a legacy through memorable moments captured and stored on Blockchain, earning royalties from these NFTs, and sharing their exceptional capabilities with the world, give[s] them the opportunity to make themselves a legendary… athlete in the esports world.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
