Mobile game developer and publisher Supercell has unveiled that the 2022 Brawl Stars World Finals will take place at Disneyland Paris.

The season-ending event will see 16 teams from across the globe compete for a share of $500,000 (~£444,880) in prize money from November 25th-27th.

In addition, a range of themed items for the event are available to purchase. This will allow fans to contribute somewhat to the prize pool, which will be capped at $1m (~£889,760).

Supercell confirms the World Finals marks the return of spectators for the first time in two years. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the publisher and its third-party tournament organisers transitioned to online competition.

Alongside the competition, Brawl Stars will activate a number of activations including match predictions and in-game rewards for watching the tournament online. Streaming platform Twitch will broadcast all matches taking place over the three days.

Launched in 2018, Brawl Stars has cemented its position as one of the top mobile esports titles in the Western world. Previous winners of the World Finals include PSG Esports, ZETA DIVISION, and Nova Esports‘ European roster. Both Nova and ZETA DIVISION are represented in this year’s World Finals, which also features the likes of AC Milan QLASH, Tribe Gaming, NAVI and Team Queso.

In addition to tournaments operated by Supercell, the likes of tournament organiser ESL, German esports organisation SK Gaming and A1 eSports operate third-party tournaments across Europe and Asia. SK Gaming is also another competitor in this year’s Brawl Stars World Finals.

In recent months, the developer looks to be preparing to take legal action against the Latin America Master League (LAML) following failures to pay prize money to the participating teams.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
