Asian esports organisation Team Flash has partnered with multinational esports organisation Gen.G‘s Global Academy (GGA) division to launch a scholastic esports programme in Southeast Asia.

The programme will take place at the XCL World Academy and will offer students opportunities to develop key industry skills, as well as content creation and management experience.

Team Flash is one of the most notable esports organisations in Southeast Asia. Based in Vietnam and Singapore, the company currently fields teams in a number of games in the region, including Free Fire, Arena of Valor, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends and FIFA.

The upcoming camp will be made possible through a partnership with XCL World Academy, an esports and gaming venue which will provide gaming computers, flight simulators and racing simulators for the students during the camp.

Targeted towards students interested in exploring long-term opportunities in the gaming industry, participants will take part in a range of activities encompassing professional gaming, game development, content creation as well as business strategy and management.

Experts from Gen.G will lead sessions on gaming and esports topics, and will help students understand the industry via hands-on experience.

Team Flash and Gen.G touted the possibility for the programme to additionally take place in Korea next year, and include “all of their partners.”

Gen.G’s Global Academy is the education arm of Gen.G, focusing on creating programmes that help students make their first steps in esports.

Gen.G, which has headquarters in the US, China and South Korea, is one of the few esports companies that have dedicated education subsidiaries. The organisation recently partnered with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to create an after-school programme.

Joseph Baek, Executive Director of Education Initiatives at Gen.G, said: “Our core mission here at GGA is to help people wield the power of gaming and esports to develop themselves into leaders of the future. This camp offers an avenue for participants to learn about the various functions and roles in the esports industry and develop additional skills required in diverse careers in the gaming market. “

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
