Fantasy esports platform E-GO App has secured a partnership with game data platform GRID.
As a result of the deal, GRID’s data will power E-GO’s League of Legends esports product, which includes the company’s first-ever League of Legends fantasy season.
Based in Sweden, E-GO APP is a fantasy platform that currently supports League of Legends and Counter-Strike 2. In January 2023, the company secured around £238,000 in investment.
E-GO’s first seasonal fantasy league is for the 2024 LEC Winter Split, which commenced last week, with the total prize pool being at least $500 (£394).
GRID has a notable association with League of Legends developer Riot Games. The data company secured a multi-year deal with Riot and has since become the official worldwide esports data partner for League of Legends esports and the VALORANT Champions Tour.
According to a release, GRID’s use of official data will help enable E-GO provide a more ‘seamless and diversified esports fantasy experience’.

Alongside a partnership with Riot Games, GRID also has data collaborations with Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports and Indian esports fantasy platform Spectatr by Fanclash.
