British esports organisation Tundra Esports has signed a partnership with esports tournament platform Repeat.

As a result, the companies will introduce a community Dota 2 esports league called Tundra Thursday Pub Smash.

According to a release, the new online league represents the organisations’ mutual commitment to growing the global esports community, featuring a $4,000 (~£3,149) prize pool and exclusive Tundra merchandise rewards. During the next eight weeks, starting today, all interested Dota 2 players worldwide may sign up for the event on the Tundra Thursday Pub Smash website.

Further details about the tournament will follow soon.

Repeat.gg is an esports tournament platform where players can play video games for a chance to earn cash prizes. The company also hosts its own tournaments across various titles. In 2022, Repeat was acquired by Sony as part of PlayStation’s esports expansion.

Based in the United Kingdom, esports organisation Tundra Esports competes in Dota 2, Fortnite, EA Sports FC, and Rocket League. Since its foundation in 2019, the company has secured several championship titles, including the Dota 2 International 2022 and the 2022 Fortnite EU FNCS Championship trophies.

Tundra Esports is backed by Dutch footballer Virgil van Dijk, who became an ambassador and shareholder in 2022.

Throughout 2023, Tundra underwent major leadership changes, with former CEO Evgeniy Roshchupkin stepping down in March and successor Carleton Curtis leaving in December. The organisation is now led by Co-Founder Maxim Demin.

However, Tundra also secured numerous partnerships and expanded into Rocket League together with PSG Esports, the esports division of French football club Paris Saint-Germain.

Anthony Graham, Co-Founder & Director of Esports at Tundra Esports, commented on the collaboration with Repeat: “We are proud to join forces with Repeat in launching Tundra Thursday Pub Smash, this partnership underscores our shared vision of empowering gamers and fostering community engagement through innovative esports experiences.”

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
