Game developer KRAFTON has teamed up with Indian esports organisation S8UL to promote the launch of shooter title Bullet Echo India.

The collaboration will see S8UL’s content creators create a range of Bullet Echo India content in an attempt to attract audiences to try the game.

KRAFTON soft-launched Bullet Echo India on April 4th, 2024. The game sees players compete in matches from a top-down perspective, with teams aiming to become the last ones standing. This is a similar format to battle royale titles such as Fortnite and Apex Legends.

S8UL and KRAFTON are no strangers to collaborating on promotional projects. In March 2023, the two parties joined forces to promote the launch of Road to Valor: Empires. This deal also saw the organisation’s content creators promote the PvP strategy game across social media channels.

Bullet Echo India’s launch does highlight KRAFTON’s commitment to the Indian gaming and esports sector, despite issues plaguing the company in the past. In May 2023, the publisher announced the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) after the country’s government banned the game.

India has also announced a range of esports and gaming-focused activations in 2024. In April, industry stakeholders also met with India’s Prime Minister to discuss industry developments and how the government has recognised ‘the creativity of gamers’. Moreover, India’s Maharashtra Government awarded Asian Games 2022 esports athletes with prize money.

Anuj Sahani, India Publishing Advisor and Head of KRAFTON India Incubator Programme, spoke on the deal: “We are excited to join forces with S8UL for our Bullet Echo India.

“S8UL’s innovative approach has consistently set them apart, and their synergy is perfectly aligned with KRAFTON to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience that fans have been eagerly anticipating.”
