Multinational esports organisation Team Liquid has partnered with credit card brand Visa for its VCT Game Changers roster.

As a result of the deal, the team will compete in the Brazilian Game Changers circuit under the name Team Liquid Visa, with the partner’s logo prominently featured on the front of its jerseys.

In the partnership announcement on LinkedIn, the organisation shared: “We’re proud to announce the newest Team Liquid partnership: Visa. The biggest inclusive team in Latin America has taken the next step in its journey and now we are Team Liquid Visa.”

VCT Game Changers is a top-tier VALORANT league for marginalised genders introduced in 2021 in addition to the regular VALORANT Champions Tour circuit. Team Liquid, who also has a VCT EMEA roster, has competed in Game Changers Brazil since acquiring the Gamelanders Purple roster in 2022.

The team has consistently been among the top performers in the region as well as on the global stage. Like the regular VCT format, the Game Changers leagues culminate in an annual international competition called the VCT Game Changers Championship.

Having secured third and second place at the VCT 2022 and 2023 Game Changers Championship, respectively, Team Liquid Visa is also anticipated to qualify for this year’s iteration. The 2024 VCT Game Changers Championship will be held from November 8th to 17th at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin.

Global credit card brand Visa has been involved in esports for several years, having partnered with esports organisation SK Gaming in 2017 and working with FACEIT since 2019. This year, the company teamed up with Argentine esports organisation Leviatán and launched an esports academy project with Natus Vincere (NAVI).

Visa joins an evergrowing Team Liquid commercial portfolio which includes the likes of Sui, Alienware and Coinbase.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
