Panasonic Avionics will become the exclusive in-flight provider of the LCS and Academy as part of the agreement, which will see matches available in a near-live format from launch, meaning fans won’t have to avoid social media for any spoilers.

Riot Games’ LCS is shaking things up in 2020, with three new faces joining the competition. Immortals will join the league after purchasing OpTic Gaming, Dignitas is returning after its Clutch Gaming purchase, and Evil Geniuses recently acquired the spot previously owned by Echo Fox.

It has not been confirmed which airlines will be part of the in-air LCS experience at the time of writing, though more information regarding this is expected to be revealed in the coming months.

In 2017, tournament organiser ESL partnered with Emirates Airlines to provide on-demand esports content from past ESL tournaments.

Esports Insider says: Esports content is everywhere on nearly all platforms imaginable. Seeing the LCS become available on aircraft as an alternative form of in-flight entertainment is another example of esports moving into mainstream culture.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
