Charlotte Hodgen, Brand Manager of Scan Computers spoke on sponsoring epic26: “Gaming sits at the heart of Scan Computers. With its new expanded space for 2019 epic.LAN is offering a fantastic opportunity for us to bring our business straight to the real players. Working with our partner Republic of gamers we are truly excited to be bringing a whole host of new and exciting products along to the event for all to try out and we will have plenty of fun activities, offers and giveaways on the stand to really help the epic.LAN event be even more EPIC.”

ASTRO Gaming will sponsor the Rocket League tournament taking place at the event. The gaming accessory brand will assist with the cash prize pool and provide hardware prizes for the teams that finish in first and second place.

Walter Duccini, Brand Director – EMEA at ASTRO Gaming discussed the decision: “ASTRO Gaming is committed to support a wide range of community focused events and activities across the globe. epic.LAN has shown passion to create a consistently inclusive and engaging experience for their community for years. Rocket League is an amazing title to support with a broad level of appeal, interaction, and entertainment for gamers of many ages. With all of our core values aligned, supporting both the epic.LAN and Rocket League communities at epic26 makes perfect sense, and we are excited to watch the action unfold at the show.”

Logitech G will sponsor epic.LAN’s first Rainbow Six Siege competition. Again, the prize pool will be boosted and it’ll give out hardware prizes for first and second place squads.

Anne-Marie McGarry, Marketing Manager at Logitech G commented: “We’re a big supporter of the global esports community, and are stoked to be working with epic.LAN on this partnership. It shows how much the esports community is moving to the next level and we’re looking forward to seeing the best of the best shoot it out in the Rainbow Six Siege tournament.”

Earlier this month it was announced that hosting provider Fasthosts would sponsor the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament at epic26, contributing towards the cash prize and awarding the winning team with a 12-month match server.

Esports Insider says: Grassroots and amateur competitions are crucial in developing the future stars in esports and having big names involved – especially boosting prize pools – is brilliant to see. epic.LAN has done a great job with epic26 so far and it hasn’t even gotten underway yet!
