How do you land that dream job in esports? With the industry growing at an almost alarming rate, there are more roles emerging all the time with more talent across the board required to sustain and continue this growth.

This is where we come in. Each month we will look through a selection of our favourite current jobs over on Hitmarker and share them with you, our readers, in the hope of landing you a career in our wonderful industry.

Misfits Gaming, best known for their success in the EU LCS (now the LEC), Europe’s premier League of Legends tournament, the team has grown in recent years with the team competing across multiple events in a multitude of games around the world. The team used the success of its time in the EU LCS to buy into the LEC franchised League of Legends league. The team has started with a bang and built a nice roster to match, so what better time to join the squad?

Graphic design is an increasingly important aspect of what makes an esports team tick – taking the teams dreams and visions and putting them in fancy graphics as the face of the brand. Misfits are looking for someone who is a master of Adobe Suite, from Photoshop to Keynote, be able to work in the EU and working as part of the social and marketing teams to drive home the Misfits message.

GAME (Belong) – Basingstoke, UK – Esports Project Manager – Full-Time

GAME has been the main face of video game retail in the UK for as long as there’s been one. Belong, the gaming arena side of the GAME arm now stands at 21 locations across the UK with plans to expand to even more in the coming year. So if you’re looking to get your teeth into running events for one of the UK’s most recognisable brands in gaming, and GAME hope, via Belong the brand will become an important aspect of Esports in the UK.

As for the actual job at Belong, you’ll be in charge of the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple large-scale events and esports projects, creating and management of projects and managing a budget. Belong are looking for someone with 2 years of esports experience, at least a year of project management, technically minded and presentation skills. Twitch – San Francisco, USA – Esports Project Manager – Full-Time

Twitch is a pretty big deal, it’s the go-to place for streaming, the top broadcaster of esports events and it has allowed thousands of gamers and creators to earn a living broadcast their dreams to viewers across the world. Now, you have a chance to join the growing Twitch team by becoming their new Esports Project Manager

Video game and esports industry knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, team player, experience with MS Office and well connected in the industry? Then this might be the job for you. 2-5 years of project management is required, great communication skills, a proven track record of improving work processes and a handful of forethought to solve issues ahead of time. Twitch, of course, will provide you will all the training to get the job done.
