Argentinean esports organisation 9z Team announced on September 1st that it had received sponsorship from Logitech G.
The gaming brand of American Swiss computer peripherals manufacturer Logitech will provide the organisation’s players and streamers with its products.
Logitech G joins streaming platforms Claro and Nimo TV, GIGABYTE gaming brand AORUS, energy drink brand Red Bull, and apparel manufacturer BLK as a partner of the organisation.
9z Team competes in Valve’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Riot Games’ League of Legends and VALORANT, Epic Games’ Fortnite, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Tencent’s PUBG Mobile.
The peripherals brand has similar deals in place with the likes of LEC, Natus Vincere, Team Heretics, Astralis, Origen, G2 Esports, T1, TSM, ENCE, and ORDER, supplying the organisations with headsets, mice, and keyboards.
Esports Insider says: While this isn’t groundbreaking news by any means, considering peripheral partnerships are among the most common in esports, it demonstrates Logitech’s desire to have a presence in esports across all major markets – including South America.
