Esports and gaming marketplace Kinguin has appointed David Yarnton, Co-founder of Web3 creator platform Edge, as its Partner and Chief of Business Development.

In his new role, Yarnton will represent Kinguin in front of various governments and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) globally. He will also act as the marketplace’s primary liaison for gaming and esports as well as uncover new business opportunities for Kinguin.

Yarnton brings a wealth of experience from the esports and gaming industry to Kinguin, having previously worked for 17 years at Nintendo. He started as the company’s Sales and Marketing Director for Australia. Later, he became a prominent figure within Nintendo UK as its General Manager.

In addition, Yarnton was a Non-Executive Director of Gfinity helping the company list on the London Stock Exchange in 2014. Throughout his five years at Gfinity, he also acted as the company’s Director of Government and Industry Relations – a role with similar duties to the one at Kinguin.

The newly appointed Partner and Chief of Business Development commented: “Kinguin has seen tremendous growth over the last few years and I am looking forward to helping it continue on that trajectory.

“As Chairman of UKIE’s Esports Sub-Group and a Board Adviser to BESA, two organisations devoted to growing and developing UK talent and business, I believe Kinguin should be rightfully recognised as one of the global shining stars in esports and video games. I am very pleased to come on board as a team member of Kinguin and look forward to working alongside Founder, Viktor, and the Kinguin team, in growing the business globally.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
