French esports organisation Team Vitality has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with electronics manufacturer Philips Monitors.
The deal will incorporate Philips’ launch campaign for its new gaming monitor brand Evnia.
Evnia’s logo will be promoted on the upper right sleeve of all Team Vitality rosters’ jerseys. The brand will also be featured in content and marketing campaigns produced by the organisation.
This is not the first time an extension between Team Vitality and Philips has been reached. The initial partnership commenced in January 2021, however, it covered only the EA Sports FIFA team. In April 2022, the partnership was amplified to cover the esports organisation’s teams competing at the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and Ligue Française League of Legends (LFL).
The partnerships will also see Evnia’s new monitor line be integrated into Team Vitality’s training facilities in Berlin and the Stade de France, a football and rugby stadium located in the Northern part of Paris.
Team Vitality has been active in closing multiple partnerships over the last two years. Not all of them, though, cover every title the organisation competes in. The deal with PC component brand Kingston FURY, for example, covers only its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.
Other brands partnered with Team Vitality include Adidas, Samsung, and Garnier Fructis.
Team Vitality CEO, Nicolas Maurer, commented on the announcement: “Having the best equipment for our players and facilities is of the utmost importance to us here at Team Vitality.
“So It’s great to be able to work with a partner who can supply our team with the best high-spec equipment to play at the highest level. It’s also great to see our partnership with Philips Monitors reach new heights and be able to support the launch of Evnia.”
