Energy drink brand Red Bull has once again partnered with gaming monitor brand AGON by AOC for its 2023 events.
After first collaborating in 2019, AGON by AOC has supplied Red Bull’s gaming competitions with a range of its monitors. In 2022, the partnership saw 519 events across 23 countries sponsored by AGON, per a release.
Last year also saw AGON by AOC provide 580 branded gaming monitors to esports stages. This included Red Bull’s university VALORANT competition Red Bull Campus Clutch, 2v2 CS:GO series Red Bull Flick and 1v1 League of Legends tournament Red Bull Solo Q.
Competitive gaming monitors from the brand’s AOC GAMING, AGON and AGON PRO range will be provided for events within the partnership agreement. This includes upcoming Red Bull Solo Q events, which will conclude with its finals in London during MSI on May 19th, and fighting game spectacle Red Bull Kumite.
Whilst known as a prominent energy drink brand, Red Bull has expanded into multiple other industries such as extreme sports, F1 and also esports.
Alongside sponsoring an array of esports organisations, such as Team Heretics and Ninjas in Pyjamas, Red Bull recently opened its largest esports and gaming venue to date in Denmark.
Anna Stefańczyk, AOC Global Marketing Lead, commented on the collaboration: “We at AGON by AOC are excited to continue our partnership with Red Bull Esports, a collaboration that has thrived since 2019.
“Our mutual commitment to pushing the boundaries of competitive gaming has allowed us to create unforgettable experiences for both competitors and fans. We’re proud to keep supporting these prestigious events with the state-of-the-art display technologies we use in our gaming monitors.”
