Energy drink brand Red Bull is set to open its new esports and gaming venue, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus, in Denmark.
The Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus, which is the brand’s largest gaming venue in the world to date, will officially commence operations on April 21st.
Part of Tech City Aarhus, the venue will be the centre of Red Bull’s gaming and esports activities in Denmark and Northern Europe and will function as a fusion of an event space, gaming centre, tournament venue and broadcasting studio. With dedicated gaming facilities in London, Tokyo, and Stockholm, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus will become the fourth venue to be launched by Red Bull.
At the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus, there will be over 160 PC gaming stations available for both experienced gamers and interested guests. Additionally, the facility will feature an esports arena, a streaming room for content creators, a console area, Simracers, a boot camp room and a Bytes takeaway restaurant.
In collaboration with C4 Gaming, which has run a gaming centre in Aarhus since 2016, the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Aarhus will hold a minimum of 30 annual events. These events will include everything from watch parties, game releases, and signing sessions to meet’n’greets with Red Bull pro teams and players, as well as final events at major tournaments and leagues.
Hassan Abdirahman, CEO of C4 Gaming, commented on the partnership: “We are honoured and proud that Red Bull has chosen to collaborate with us on their Red Bull Gaming Sphere concept in Denmark, and we look forward to being able to invite everyone to a premium gaming experience when we open the doors on April 21st.”
