Esports betting company GG.BET has announced a CS:GO showmatch series between French esports organisation Team Vitality and Ukrainian organisation Natus Vincere (NAVI) on July 8th, 2023.

Dubbed ‘Match of LeGGends’, the event will see both teams field their updated rosters, with official livestreams hosting giveaways, competitions and prize draws during the day.

GG.BET is a partner of both esports organisations, so it made sense for the betting company to organise a show match in early July, before the CS:GO teams get back to competing in the BLAST Fall Groups and IEM Cologne. Both teams are former CS:GO Major winners, with Vitality winning the Paris Major in 2023, and NAVI winning the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

The match itself will be played in a best-of-three format, with a twist. The first map will be played with the regular NAVI and Team Vitality rosters, however, the teams will swap players for the second map. The third map will see rosters selected by the public via GG.BET’s Twitter account. The live stream for the event will be available in English, Ukrainian and Brazilian Portuguese.

The betting company has announced that a series of giveaways and activations will take place during the day, and that the GG.BET site will feature additional bonuses for those betting on the show match.

Dmytro Voshkarin, CEO of GG.BET, commented on the news: “Our task is to not only keep coming up with nice surprises for GG.BET’s users and partners, but to create projects which will generate more interest in esports from the wider public and help facilitate its future development.”

GG.BET noted that more information about the activations, the streams and other details will be shared closer to the date of the event.
