Danish esports and entertainment centre Astralis Nexus has secured a partnership with accounting software company Visma E-conomic.
The partnership will see the two parties join forces on a range of initiatives that focus on staff care and events for employees of the software company.
According to a release, Astralis Nexus partnering with Visma E-conomic will provide ‘numerous positive benefits’ to those working for the software company. In addition to employee benefits, the organisation will host a range of gaming experiences at the facility, which is located in central Copenhagen.
Owned and operated by Danish esports organisation Astralis, the Astralis Nexus opened in February 2022 and features a range of gaming PC stations for customers in addition to training facilities for the organisation’s roster of esports teams.
Founded in 2001, the partnership marks Visma E-conomic’s first foray into the esports industry. Nevertheless, financial companies are no strangers to the industry. In June 2023, games publisher Riot Games and Mastercard expanded its multi-year partnership resulting in the company supporting global events on the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) circuit.
Aside from Astralis Nexus, the Danish esports organisation has continued to secure new partnerships throughout the year. In August 2023, it joined forces with building material provider STARK and in September, it partnered with the Danish Red Cross Youth to expand the reach of the humanitarian organisation among youth and children.
Johannes Andersen, Head of Sales and Events at Astralis Nexus, spoke on the deal: “From the very first e-conomic event, it was evident that Lars, Katrine, and their team have very high expectations for their internal employee care.
“They also display a willingness to test highly ambitious concepts. Combining e-conomic’s digital expertise and the experience of Astralis Nexus elevates these events, and we look forward to jointly offering Visma e-conomic’s employees even more memorable experiences.”
