Esports tournament organiser PGL has renewed its partnership with data analytics company Shikenso Analytics.

As a result of the deal, the company will be the exclusive data partner for all of PGL’s productions taking place throughout 2024.

PGL will continue to use Shikenso‘s data insights and AI-powered tools to monitor and evaluate the performance of existing sponsorship deals across the tournament organiser’s streaming and social media channels. According to a release, the data provided will ‘establish and sustain impactful relationships’ within the esports industry.

The expansion follows on from a deal that was first signed in October 2021 where Shikenso Analytics would provide data for PGL’s Stockholm CS:GO Major. In 2024, PGL will utilise the data for the Copenhagen Major, the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major.

Alongside PGL, Shikenso Analytics also works with a number of esports organisations and tournament organisers to analyse the performance of partnerships and sponsorships. In January 2024, Shikenso partnered with Bright Up Agency to provide its clients with high-quality data and in December 2023, it extended its partnership with GIANTX.

PGL continues to operate as one of the largest esports tournament organisers in the world. In March 2024, it announced plans to host at least eight Dota 2 events over the next three years and scored a partnership with Chinese game developer Perfect World in March.

Silviu Stroie, CEO of PGL, spoke on the extension: “We’re pleased to announce the renewal of our exclusive partnership with Shikenso Analytics. Their proficiency in sponsorship data analysis enhances our partnership management skills and allows us to offer great value to the brands we collaborate with.

“With the support from Shikenso, we are well-positioned to establish new standards of excellence in esports sponsorship evaluation.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
