PSG TALON, a joint venture between Asian organisation TALON and football club PSG, has secured a partnership with energy drink brand Monster Energy.

As a result of the deal, PSG TALON and Monster Energy will collaborate on a range of exclusive content and other activations.

In addition to the activations, the deal will see the Monster Energy logo appear on the jerseys of PSG TALON’s Rainbow Six Siege and League of Legends players. Details on what the activations entail have yet to be revealed.

Monster Energy continues to solidify its position within the esports industry thanks to its extensive partnership portfolio. In January, it signed a multi-year deal with UK university esports body National Student Esports (NSE) and in April 2023, the brand partnered with the Call of Duty League.

TALON Esports‘ partnership with Monster Energy takes its total number of partners to seven. The energy drink brand joins the likes of scented oil and inhaler brand Peppermint Field and gaming peripherals manufacturer SteelSeries on its roster.

2024 continues to be a year of growth for TALON Esports. In March 2024, the organisation extended its partnership with French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a joint Rainbow Six roster in addition to partnering with Web3 game Apeiron for a $30,000 (~£24,054) tournament.

Sean Zhang, CEO of TALON Esports, spoke on the deal: “This partnership represents an exciting chapter for PSG TALON.

“Monster Energy’s commitment to esports aligns perfectly with our vision of pushing boundaries and elevating the gaming experience. Together, we aim to energise and inspire gamers worldwide.”
