Esports tournament organiser BLAST Premier has renewed its partnership with German esports data platform Shikenso Analytics

As a BLAST third-party data provider, Shikenso’s solutions aim to use data to help guide the tournament series with regard to commercial and strategic decision-making.

In particular, Shikenso’s sponsorship analytical solutions provide insights into the sponsorship valuations of BLAST Premier’s partners. This data can be used to bolster activations, as well as highlight campaign performance to sponsors.

Founded in 2020, BLAST Premier is a prominent CS:GO tournament series that features a partner team franchise model. Since its creation, the series has recorded an impressive list of endemic and non-endemic sponsors within its commercial portfolio. The tournament’s current slate of sponsors includes the likes of esports bookmaker Unikrn, skin trading platform CS.MONEY and shipping company Maersk.

In 2023, Shikenso has significantly expanded its list of clients within and around the esports space. This includes collaborations with FURIA, Turtle Beach, Pinnacle, G2 Esports and Team Vitality, among others.

Notably, Shikenso highlighted its Esports Radar solution earlier this year by disclosing IEM Cologne’s most successful sponsors.

Oliver Clarke, Commercial Director for BLAST, commented: “Being able to provide value and insight for our partners is crucial to creating sustainable, successful and long-term brand collaborations.

“Shikenso’s approach to data analysis is both innovative and highly detailed, meaning we can provide in-depth insights for all partners and continue to develop our partnership offering from strength-to-strength.”

Details surrounding the length of the renewal have not been revealed.
